This Art Pad features the extraordinary Louise, Princesse de Broglie, Later the Comtesse d'Haussonville by Jean-Auguste-Dominique Ingres. Considered one of the greatest artists of the nineteenth century, Ingres had many false starts and produced many drawings in preparation for this portrait. At least sixteen of these preparatory drawings survive. According to a letter written by the artist, the finished painting “aroused a storm of approval.”

With 14 pages of 250gsm acid-free, soft-touch, vellum-finish wove paper, this Art Pad serves as the perfect surface for mixed media or drawing.
