The Frick Cap in a new limited edition Delft blue! Created in celebration of our exhibition Vermeer's Love Letters, the cap will only be available during the run of the exhibition, which ends on August 31, 2025. Johannes Vermeer (Dutch, 1632-1675) lived and worked in the city of Delft, which is famous for its blue pottery.
The decorative and classically inspired monogram of Henry Clay Frick (1849–1919) was created by the architectural firm of John Russell Pope. It was added over the door of the main entrance during the house's transformation into a museum in the 1930s.
