Blueprint Mug

The perfect gift for those interested in architecture, this mug presents a 1913 blueprint of the north elevation of the New York home of Henry Clay Frick. Designed by the architect Thomas Hastings, it evokes Louis XIV’s Grand Trianon chateau, built in the late seventeenth century. In 1935, John Russell Pope transformed Frick’s Gilded Age mansion into a museum for the public.
