Frick Madison, the temporary home of the Frick Collection while its buildings undergo renovation, opened in March 2021. Housed in the Breuer building, a masterpiece of modern architecture, it has given the Frick a historic opportunity to deconstruct and re-present the collection in a way that offers an invaluable learning experience, one that enriches an understanding and enjoyment of the collection.

This perfectly sized, heavyweight cotton canvas tote bag highlights this unique perspective on the collection.

On the reverse side is the monogram for Henry Clay Frick, which was designed for the main entrance to The Frick Collection during the last comprehensive renovation of the house, when it was transformed into a museum from 1932–1935 by John Russell Pope. The decorative, classically inspired monogram was one of many painstaking details incorporated into the building that seamlessly evoked the original design of the house.
